Welcome to LINK Summer!

My name is Ms. Margaret, and I am the 7th/8th Lead Teacher.  I'm really excited about all of the different activities we have lined up for this summer!  In addition to teaching the 7th/8th Project Based Learning and Community Service morning classes, I also teach two enrichment classes in the afternoon: League of Urban Explorers: Hiking Baltimore and Around the World in 30 Days: Foreign Food and Flicks.  Stay tuned to our blog to see what projects and adventures our 7th/8th graders are taking part in this summer!

This week has been okay . It has been TOO MUCH drama for no reason . But other than that , this program is fun . We have alot of projects coming up that seem fun. Today we put primer on our grafitti boards & I got paint all over my hands. Yesterday we played basketball & it was fun. Tomorrow in our yearbook class, we get to interveiw some of the little kids & teachers. Any way , byee.

- So Far Link Summer Camp Has Been Fun. I Like Going OutSide, Playing Basketball, ScrapBooking && Doing The Service Learning Hours.

- I Really Dont Like Girls But I Hang Ouw W. A Few. I Only Hang Out W. Boys The Most.
- I Am In The 8thh Grade && Attend Windsor Mill Middle School.  I Really Dont Like It Because Of The DRAMA !

Hey everybody my name is Malik Wilson I attend K.I.P.P Ujima Village Academy. I am in the seventh grade going to the eighth grade this august. I love all subjects and I do exceptional well in all of them. As of right now I am V.L.P Link Summer program and so far it is great. We play basketball we walked to the  Baltimore Street Car Museum and we went to Johns Hopkins to learn about a school that we might one day attend.  Hey whats up its your boy Gary. This my first year at lnk summer program and i never really blogged before so i dont know what to say. But heres a little bout me. I graduated from Bluford Drew Jemison S.T.E.M Academy east this year. Now I am going to attend Baltimore Polytechnic Instite for the class of 2015. I am 13 ill be 14 real soon. I get straight A's. Ive done alot of things in the past week we went on a hike to the streetcar musuem and john hopkins university. Also ive played basketball and did workouts.What i like about the street car musuem was that we got to ride on the streetcar. I like the science center in John Hopkins

hey, my summer so far is going good not much vaction time but im still holding out!!!! Ive made great friends at this camp and they r Funny! Some have a little issues with them but 4 the most part everyone here is nice!

Hey my name is mitchell and this is my first introduction to my first ever blog. I'm in the 8th grade and I attend  Kipp academy in Baltimore, Maryland. I'm very short for my age but have a very very deep voice and and a high pitch laugh so i was given the cool nickname of "Voice". i also love to play sports but my favorites are basketball and football and my favorite teams are the Ravens and the Boston celtics. my favorite players are Ed Reed and Rajon Rondo. at my camp we go hiking and workout , also we do graffiti and just have fun. thats all folks see you next time.

David's Introduction

Hello bloggers this is my first time blogging on the blog website and my name is David . I am going to 8th grade and I am going to The Boys Latin school of Maryland for high school as well. It is a  private school that goes through elementarty, middle , and high. About i am really tall for my age but people call me stretch or mr. Fanatisic cause of my long arms and legs. So the things we did at camp were we to the graftti wall and saw pictures that were cool and expressed some of the artists feelings as I saw. I also went on a hike and i will be going on one today as well but the firs hike we went on was a tour at a college and a streetcart museum and we got to ride on 3 of the street cars and they were old loke 100 years. So i will be going on more adventures later on so see you later.

First Week!
This program has let me show my adventure side. i have really enjoyed the Urban Hiking. This was definitely my favorite part! We went to Johns Hopkins University and got an awesome tour and learned a lot about the college.We also went to the Street Car Museum and rode 3 Street Cars! Aside from Urban Hiking, i have also really enjoyed Graffiti Alley. I think it's a great way to express others talent and artistic ways to speak to the world and express themselves.

hmmm well the this first week has been pretty interesting. we went on a hike and saw street cars and the Johns Hopkins University. The food here isn't the best but it'll have to do. my favorite part of camp so far is making friends and yearbook. i .love to take pictures and write so it'll be fun! ~taylor shaf.

Hey its me Myisha i am a student at the link summer program this summer today I will telling you about the first week at link.first i wil tell you about the activities that i have partisipated in.  There is basketball,music. I am also a student at my school called Afya public charter midddle school . I am going to the 8th grade i am a strate A+ student my weakest subject is math my strongest subject is language arts, and p.e. my favorite thing to do is to get on facebook and youtube i love listening to music and i like talking to familt and friends. I love my brother,sister,mother,and cousins. this weak i will be going to gunpowder with my family to have some fun in the sun . everybody enjoy your summer love you bye.
