The 7th/8th grade students took a trip to the graffiti alley behind Load of Fun Gallery and posed for a photograph with some of their favorite pieces.
The students are using these artworks as inspiration for the graffiti murals that they are designing for the community.
The students have already begun sketching their mural boards.
Topics included in their murals are equality, respect, art, and diversity.
Students hope to show their community that graffiti art can be used for more than just gang purposes.
They are using graffiti to express themselves and portray positive messages to the community.
